These chocolate no bake cookies are Jeff's version of this well-known treat, and there is no easier or faster dessert you can make that tastes this good without even having to turn on the oven!

Ingredients
1 ¾cupsSugarwhite granulated
½cupMilkwhole or 2%
¼lbButter1 stick, salted
3TBSCocoaheaping
½cupPeanut butterI prefer crunchy, but smooth is fine
1tspVanilla extract
¼tspSaltcourse sea salt is best
3cupsQuick oats"cooks in 1-minute"
Instructions
For best results, lay out ingredients into individual containers or bowls before getting started making the cookies.
Add sugar, milk, cocoa, and butter to a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Note: The butter will melt better if it's cut up into smaller pieces or pre-melted in the microwave.
Bring the saucepan to a rolling boil and allow it to boil for exactly 2 minutes and 45 seconds while stirring constantly. Stir in the peanut butter, vanilla, and salt, and immediately remove the saucepan from the heat.
Fold in the three cups of oats quickly, and the mixture is ready to be made into cookies.
Use a cookie scoop or silicone spatula and spoon the cookies out onto parchment paper. Use the back of a spatula or spoon to flatten them slightly.
Once the cookies have set up, enjoy them with a tall glass of milk or store them in an airtight container.
